Presented by the Virginia Independent Automobile Dealers Association (VIADA), this comprehensive hands-on workshop is designed to give dealership professionals the knowledge, confidence, and practical tools needed to properly process Virginia vehicle titles and registrations in compliance with DMV and MVDB requirements. Based on real-world dealership scenarios, this class covers everything from title assignments and odometer disclosures to power of attorney forms, title held transactions, replacement titles, consignment vehicles, lien processing, electronic titling, and online dealer requirements.

Attendees will gain a deeper understanding of:

• Virginia title processing procedures
• Proper completion of DMV forms including VSA 17A, VAD-20, VSA 67, and Power of Attorney documents
• Odometer disclosure laws and compliance requirements
• Open title violations and fraud prevention
• Title held and repossession procedures
• E-Title and E-Lien processes
• Online Dealer Program responsibilities and DMV mandates
• Common title mistakes and how to correct them properly
